Coventry, UK Peace and Reconciliation Forum’s history goes back to September 1941 when citizens of this ruined by Nazi’s Luftwaffe city, sent their message of support to citizens of Stalingrad after the nazi’s invasion of the USSR in June 1941. Since then Coventry has got the title of the UK only city of Peace and Reconciliation and works daily to continue the traditions of supporting all the activities towards mutual understanding, friendship and peace in the world through various meetings and projects.
